Update on the Old Sports Centre - Dec 2023
As we reach the end of 2023 there have been some significant milestones reached in the project. Our partner Stone Circle Developments have completed the purchase of the site and the Planning Decision Notice has been issued. This means in the New Year progress can be made on finalising the specifications ready for the works to go to tender. Whilst we are fully aware how the impact of rising costs and interest rates may have an impact on the project, it is hoped that there may be a start on site in the latter part of 2024.

PLANNING APPLICATION APPROVED
We’re delighted to be able to tell you that the Old Sports Centre project has had its planning application approved at Wiltshire Council's Southern Area Planning Committee meeting held on 8th December 2022.
The project is supported by the community and the Parish Council, and will offer 13 dwellings in the local style. 6 of these will be offered as ‘affordable housing’ and the freehold to these properties will be held by the Nadder Community Land Trust in perpetuity. They will be managed by the housing association, White Horse.
